SMS का Full Form क्या है ?

SMS का फुल फॉर्म Short Message Service है. यह एक communication protocol है जो mobile devices के between text messages का exchange करने की अनुमति देता है.

SMS ka Concept & History :

  • 1980 की starting में initial SMS concept exist थी. 
  • इसे Franco-German GSM cooperation में 1984 में Friedhelm Hillebrand and Bernard Ghillebiert द्वारा develop किया गया था.
  • फिर, CEPT group GSM ने उस time use में आने वाले message handling system के through mobile stations के बीच text messages के exchange को include करने की introduce की.

Advantages of SMS:

  1. यह important information send के लिए एक very reliable and attested platform है जो information की guaranteed delivery करता है.
  2. इसे किसी भी App download करने की require नहीं है because यह all mobile devices में पहले से ही provide किया हुआ है.
  3. यह all mobile devices के लिए automatically provide किया जाता है and internet connection के लिए कोई requirement नहीं है.
  4. यह एक phone call की compare में information send का more discrete form है.
  5. लोगों के बीच conversations automatically store किए जाते हैं जब तक कि लोगों द्वारा स्वयं delete नहीं  किया जाता.

Disadvantages of SMS:

  1. Most of Mobile में एक बार message sent हो जाये तो उससे unsend करने की कोई possibility नहीं होता है. 
  2. इसकी एक limited length है because यह per text message only 160 characters provide करता है.
  3. Text message send के लिए SMS sending cost pay करना होगा because SMS facility free of cost नहीं है.
