TRP Stands For/Full Form Television Rating Point
TRP ka Full Form Television Rating Point है. यह एक tool है जो एक television program/serials की popularity को indicate करता है. इसका use यह judge करने के लिए किया जाता है कि कौन सा टेtelevision program/serial most view किया जाता है.

1. Frequency Monitoring Method:
- इस method में TRP calculate करने के लिए, एक device को judge करने के लिए few thousand viewers के houses के TV sets से attach हुआ है.
- इस device को people’s meter कहा जाता है और यह उस time and program को record करता है जिसे viewer किसी particular day देखता है.
- Then viewership status जानने के लिए avarage 30 day की period ली जाती है.
- Peoples’s meter एक very costly device है जिसे abroad से import किया जाता है.
2.Picture Matching Technique:
- इस technique में, People’s meter continuously उस picture के एक small portion को recording करता है जिसे किसी particular television set पर watch किया जाता है.
- उसके बाद sample homes से data collect किया जाता है और national rating की calculate करने के लिए use किया जाता है.
- यह technique India में more reliable and comparatively new है.

- भारत में “The Kapil Sharma Show” very popular show है. India TRP of The Kapil Sharma Show बहुत high है. यह High TRP shows में से एक है.
- WWE TRP rate भी very high है.
- India में एक और popular show Bigboss है. Bigboss TRP भी very high है.
