UPS Full Form: Uninterrupted Power Supply
UPS का full form है : Uninterrupted Power Supply. Uninterrupted Power Supply(UPS) एक battery पर चलता है जिसका Primary source की absent में power supply(बिजली की आपूर्ति) के लिए किया जाता है या जब power supply cut off हो जाती है.
एक UPS कुछ minutes के लिए एक computer run कर सकता है जो आपको अपना सारा data save के लिए enough time दे सकता है ताकि आप data loose न हो.
लेकिन long time backup के लिए power ups भी हैं. Power failure के time में power UPS घंटों तक Backup दे सकते हैं। ये मुख्य रूप से large IT sector और Large Data Center में use किए जाते हैं.
UPS System के चयन में UPS and Battery का आकार भी एक main important factor है.
Types Of UPS System with Full Form in Hindi :
UPS System generally two types की होती है
Offline UPS:
- Offline UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply), Stand-by power system के नाम पे भी परिचित है.
- जब power cut हो जाती है तो यह कुछ mili second में battery mode में switch हो जाती है.
- इस समय के दौरान, computer कोई power receive नहीं कर रहा होगा.
Online UPS:
- Online UPS अपने Inverter से uninterrupted power की supply करता है.
- इसकी दो कमियां हैं, पहला यह है कि यह Offline UPS से अधिक expensive है और दूसरा यह है कि इसमें cooling fan है जो बहुत अधिक noise create करता है.

चलिए जानते हैं how a UPS works: सरल भाषा में जब Incoming Power Supply कम है या safe voltage level से ऊपर उठती है, तो UPS DC battery power पर switch करता है और फिर connected equipments को चलाने के लिए इसे AC Power में बदल देता है.
